Care Guide

The Malagasy Tree Aloe has a minimal water requirement or a strong drought tolerance. Watering it once every three weeks or less during the winter is sufficient. Their wide, projecting leaves and thick cuticles aid in their adaptation to dry settings by storing a considerable amount of water.

🌡️ Temperature

🌱 Fertilizer
Use compost or earthworm humus to fertilize in the fall. Mix worm castings, dry steer manure, or finished compost into your potting media when you first pot your succulent plants to use them. Make a quarter-finished potting medium out of worm castings, compost, or dry steer dung. This should last a year and keep your plant happy.

✂️ Pruning
Remove any dead or decaying leaves, and cut the stem if it remains more than 6 inches below the lowest surviving leaf. Allow a week for the wound to heal in a warm, shady location (indoors is acceptable), then plant stems in well-drained soil.
