This attractive perennial forms a low mat of tiny, silver-gray leaves. In early summer, it blooms with fuzzy white flowers. It's a slow spreader, making it an excellent choice for sunny rock gardens, rock walls, spaces between stepping stones, or as a small-scale groundcover. Additionally, it is very drought-tolerant and is native to North America.
Carpathian pussytoes shows strong resistance to disease and is generally not susceptible to illnesses. In terms of care, this plant is fairly low-maintenance. When grown outdoors it needs little watering, and larger specimens typically do not require pruning. Smaller plants, however, should be trimmed after they have finished blooming. Carpathian pussytoest is suitable for anyone with an outdoor area, such as a garden or deck, and does not demand extensive experience in plant care.
