Astilbe is considered one of the easiest flowering perennials to grow. With its plume-like blossoms in pink, red, and white hues, astilbe is a long-lasting and long-blooming plant that adds soft shades of color to any home or garden. Its flowers are lightly held on tall, rigid stalks above even airier foliage. Although slow-growing, astilbe is relatively low-maintenance and problem-free. These are best planted in the spring or fall and, once fully established, will bloom for many years.

🌳 Chinese astilbe is a popular perennial, cherished for its fluffy spires of blossoms. It thrives in shaded areas, making it an excellent choice for planting near shrubs or trees, where it can become a truly beautiful addition to the landscape. Often used as ground cover, it also attracts pollinators, enhancing various types of gardens. Chinese astilbe pairs well with ferns, Siberian irises, and impatiens for a harmonious garden composition.
