A note from PlantMom

Soft greeneyes shows good resistance to disease and usually does not suffer from illnesses. However, it can be vulnerable to pests and diseases present in its environment. These issues are typically mild. For care, this plant requires a moderate amount of maintenance. It should be pruned regularly to preserve a neat appearance and encourage healthy growth. Fertilizing can also help stimulate flowering. Soft greeneyes is well suited for anyone with outdoor space, such as a garden or patio, and does not demand extensive caretaking experience. CARE GUIDE

How to keep Berlandiera Pumila.

Light

Soft greeneyes is a sun-loving, perennial herbaceous plant native to open habitats, commonly found in meadows and grasslands. It prefers full sun but can also tolerate partial sun conditions.

Temperature

Soft greeneyes can adjust to a wide range of temperatures, but its distribution may still be restricted by different combinations of water and heat conditions. It performs best in warm summer climates with sufficient rainfall or watering. Extended periods of cloudy, rainy weather, as well as prolonged high temperatures, can raise the chance of Soft greeneyes dying. In winter, protecting it from cold can increase the plant's survival rate.

Fertilizer

The best time to fertilize a Soft greeneyes is in early spring, when it is coming out of dormancy and starting active growth. Fertilization supplies essential nutrients needed for healthy development. Although Soft greeneyes has fairly low fertilizer requirements, giving it fertilizer annually can improve its survival and encourage healthier, longer-lasting flowers.
