This succulent gets its common name from the appearance of its foliage. The leaves on this plant are thin, fleshy, and round – resembling little needles. This needle-like foliage, despite its name, is harmless. It hangs delicately off the plant’s green vines. In the summer, String of Needles produces beautiful little flowers.
