Description
Source: leafsnapClerodendrum bungei, commonly known as rose glory bower, glory flower or Mexican hydrangea (though not a true Hydrangea and not from Mexico), is a species of flowering plant in the deadnettle family, Lamiaceae. Native to China, it is commonly grown in gardens as an ornamental shrub. It has escaped from cultivation and is naturalized in the Americas.
🌳 Rose glory bower is known for its dense growth, lush ovate foliage, and vibrant pink flower clusters. Despite its unpleasant scent, it is an excellent choice for shrub or wall-side borders in city gardens, cottage gardens, and coastal gardens. It can also be placed in the back of flower borders and beds to help create attractive garden layers.
