A note from PlantMom

Cyperus rigens shows strong resistance to disease and is typically not susceptible to illnesses. Regarding its care, this species is fairly low maintenance. Outdoors it needs only light watering, and bigger specimens usually do not require pruning. Smaller specimens, however, should be trimmed after they finish blooming. Cyperus rigenst is appropriate for anyone with an outdoor area, like a garden or deck, and does not demand much prior plant-care experience.
