African Palm Tree (Euphorbia Loricata, Euphorbia Armata) is a drought-tolerant perennial evergreen that is used as a decorative plant. It's a succulent shrub with narrow leaves at the branch ends that ultimately fall off, leaving only dry cyathium stems that look like sharp spines on the stems. It may reach a height of 3.3 feet (1 m) and branches out from the base and above. Branches are upright, fleshy, cylindrical, and have a diameter of up to 0.6 inches (1.5 cm). When grown in full sun, they are light green or brilliant red. Leaves can be up to 3 inches long (7.5 cm) and 0.25 inches broad (6 mm).
