Care Guide
💧 Water
Jungle Velvet is native to tropical rainforests, so it needs high humidity and consistently moist soil to grow well. To support its growth, water the plant weekly to maintain soil moisture, and mist it regularly to replicate its natural environment. This will help ensure vibrant growth and lush foliage.
☀️ Light Partial sun
Jungle Velvet naturally inhabits locations like undergrowth in forests or rocky regions, where it enjoys naturally occurring shade. It favors semi-sunny conditions but can adjust to either complete sun or complete shade, highlighting its adaptable and robust characteristics.
🌡️ Temperature 20–41.1°C
Jungle Velvet hails from tropical areas known for their heat and moisture. Consequently, it is acclimatized to hot and humid conditions. It is not favorable towards abrupt changes in temperature and prefers a consistent temperature setting, hence it's crucial to prevent inconsistent temperature variations indoors. Typically, it is less tolerant towards cool temperatures and needs higher temperatures to grow. Should the environmental temperature fall excessively, the plant could potentially stop growing or even perish.

🌱 Fertilizer
For the health and appearance of Jungle Velvet, it's essential to fertilize properly. Summer is the time to fertilize Jungle Velvet, doing so monthly all throughout the warm season. The nutrients aid in plant growth and upkeep of its components. With fertilization, Jungle Velvet's flower exhibition is enhanced, guaranteeing exceptional blooms.
🪴 Pot & Repot 3-4 years
For Jungle Velvet repotting, select a new pot slightly bigger than the old one that has excellent drainage. The best time to repot is during spring or fall, utilizing a potting mix that drains well. Maintain the same previous repotting depth. After repotting, give the plant considerable watering and put it in a warm spot with gently diffused light. Overwatering should be avoided to keep root rot at bay.
