Care Guide
💧 Water
☀️ Light Full sun
Wareque, a plant indigenous to dry areas, flourishes in abundant sunlight, a characteristic of its original habitat which features intense solar radiation and scarce shade. It also tolerates partial sunlight, demonstrating some flexibility in its cultivation conditions.
🌡️ Temperature 20–37.8°C
Wareque can tolerate a certain degree of heat, but it mainly flourishes in the colder seasons, going into a rest phase during summer. It's crucial to have protection from direct sun to avoid burn during high summer temperatures. Minimizing or ceasing watering during this hottest period can help avoid root decay. Wareque undergoes robust growth during the winter and spring periods. Provided that the temperature does not decrease excessively, its steady growth shall persist.

🌱 Fertilizer
For wareque, it's enough to use light applications of fertilizer 1-2 times annually during the growth season. Do not fertilize during its dormant periods in winter and summer. When a plant is repotted, lessen the quantity of the fertilizer, and pause fertilizing for several months post-repot. The aim of fertilization is to sustain robust growth and stimulate flowering.

✂️ Pruning
Ibervillea sonorae is a hardy and resilient plant that requires regular maintenance. To promote healthy growth and flowering, it is important to prune the plant in early spring. This involves shaping the plant and removing any dead stems. Keeping an open structure helps improve air circulation, which reduces the risk of disease and enhances the plant's appearance.
