Care Guide
💧 Water
☀️ Light Full sun
Copa Palm is native to open habitats, for example sunny meadows and forest edges, that offer plenty of light. It prefers Full Sun but will also tolerate Partial Sun, adapting well to a range of sunlight conditions.
🌡️ Temperature 20–37.8°C
Copa Palm comes from tropical areas, where the climate is usually warm and humid. Therefore, it is well suited to high heat and moisture. It does not tolerate sudden temperature shifts and prefers a consistent temperature, so avoiding indoor temperature fluctuations is important. It typically cannot endure cold and needs warmer conditions to grow. If the surrounding temperature falls too low, the plant may stop growing or even die.

🌱 Fertilizer
To encourage healthy growth, fertilize your Copa Palm in early spring. Regular feeding boosts its overall health, producing robust growth, greater tolerance of difficult conditions, and enhanced resistance to diseases and pests. Stick to a consistent fertilization schedule to keep the foliage vibrant, richly colored, and lush in appearance.

✂️ Pruning
Iriartea deltoidea is a tropical palm known for its sturdy trunk and broad crown. For optimal growth, prune it in early spring by removing only dead or damaged fronds. To prevent disease, always use sterilized tools. Selective trimming helps maintain the plant's shape and size, improves air circulation, and minimizes pest problems.
