Minuartia mutabilis subsp. mutabilis is disease-resistant and, in general, not likely to develop illnesses. With regard to care, this plant is fairly low-maintenance. When grown outdoors it needs little watering, and larger plants typically do not require pruning. Smaller plants, however, should be pruned after flowering. Minuartia mutabilis subsp. mutabilist is suitable for anyone who has an outdoor area, such as a garden or a deck, and it does not demand much prior care experience.
