Picrasma crenata, the pau-amargo, pau-tenente or tenente-josé, is a tree species in the family Simaroubaceae, native to Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. In Brazil, it grows in the Atlantic Forest in the regions of Nordeste, Sudeste and Sul.
