Portulaca Kermesina

Portulaca kermesina is a drought-tolerant plant. During spring and fall, it needs to be watered once or twice a week. In the summer, due to higher evaporation, you should water it two to three times a week. In winter, water it every 15 days. Be sure to use small amounts of water to prevent root rot, and adjust the watering schedule according to the season.

Portulaca kermesina is a colorful, low-growing succulent known for its bright flowers. To encourage growth and maintain a tidy appearance, prune it from early to late spring. Remove any dead stems and thin out crowded areas to improve air circulation. While minimal pruning is needed, regularly deadhead the plants to extend their blooming period.
