Care Guide

💧 Water
☀️ Light Full sun

Hairy fan-flower comes from open habitats, such as sunny meadows and forest margins, which offer plenty of light. It prefers Full Sun but will also tolerate Partial Sun, adapting well to different light conditions.

Ideal: Full sun
🌡️ Temperature 20–37.8°C

Hairy fan-flower shows strong adaptability to a variety of climates, whether facing blazing summers or frosty winters. It still has an optimal temperature range for growth. When temperatures become excessively high, the plant can suffer heat and humidity stress, which can lead to its death. In areas where temperatures approach the lower limit of its cold tolerance, it's important to provide insulation to protect the plant.

✂️ Pruning

The hairy fan-flower is known for its distinctive hairy foliage and vibrant, fan-shaped blooms. To encourage healthy growth and abundant flowering, prune the plant in early spring to remove any dead stems. Regular light pruning helps maintain a compact shape and prevents the plant from becoming too leggy. Make sure to use clean tools when pruning to prevent the spread of disease and improve both the appearance and structure of the plant.
