Oreja de cordero comes from open habitats, such as sunny meadows and forest edges, which offer abundant light. It does best in Full Sun but can also tolerate Partial Sun, adjusting well to a range of sunlight conditions.

Oreja de cordero demonstrates good temperature adaptability, tolerating higher heat and wide temperature swings. In hot weather, attention should be paid to watering and adequate shading should be provided to avoid sunburn. Conversely, Oreja de cordero is relatively intolerant of low temperatures; although it can endure some cold, very low temperatures may cause frost damage.

Applying fertilizer at the right time is essential for Oreja de cordero. Begin fertilizing in early spring and continue monthly until early summer. Fertilizer promotes attractive blooms and provides energy during both dormancy and active growth.
