Care Guide

☀️ Light Full sun
Coast goldenrod is a sun-loving, perennial herbaceous plant that comes from open habitats and often does well in meadows and grasslands. It prefers full sun but can also tolerate partial sun.
🌡️ Temperature 5–35°C
Coast goldenrod can tolerate a wide range of temperatures, though its range may still be limited by different combinations of moisture and heat. It does best in warm summer conditions with sufficient rainfall or watering. Extended periods of cloudy, rainy weather and prolonged high temperatures can increase the chance of Coast goldenrod dying. In winter, protecting the plant from cold can boost its likelihood of survival.

🌱 Fertilizer
Early spring, when the Coast goldenrod is coming out of dormancy and starting active growth, is the best time to apply fertilizer. Fertilizing supplies essential nutrients for healthy growth. Although Coast goldenrod has fairly low fertilizer needs, an annual application can improve its survival and encourage better, longer-lasting flowers.
