Description

Source: leafsnap

Thalictrum pubescens, the king of the meadow or tall meadow-rue, is a plant in the buttercup family, Ranunculaceae.

🌳 Notable for its starry white flowers, tall stature, and clump-forming habit, tall meadow-rue is a native North American plant that is well-suited for planting at the back of beds and borders in cottage, woodland, and shade gardens. It is also an excellent native addition to wildflower meadows. Preferring moist environments, tall meadow-rue thrives on pond edges and can naturalize in consistently wet soils.
