It does not tolerate sudden temperature shifts and prefers a steady thermal environment, so avoiding indoor temperature fluctuations is important. It usually cannot endure cold conditions and needs higher temperatures to grow; if the ambient temperature falls too low, the plant may stop growing or could die.

Fertilization is essential for the care of Parry's jujube. Regular feeding during the growing season helps maintain the energy for its showy leaves and promotes overall growth.
