ON THIS PLANT
The extensive genus Ficus, commonly known as fig or fig trees, comprises over 800 species. These are primarily large shrubs and evergreen trees, though there are also some deciduous species and climbers among them. Ficus plants can grow to heights ranging from 1 to 10 meters. Most species are characterized by their distinctive smooth, white bark and aerial roots.
