CARE GUIDE
How to keep Iberis Spathulata.
Water
Spoon-leaved candytuft needs frequent watering during the first few months after planting. Be sure to let the soil dry out before watering again. Once established, the plant has low water requirements and does well with infrequent, deep watering, needing only 2-3 cm annually. It is best to use ground-level soaker hoses for watering, as opposed to overhead irrigation.
Pruning
For best results with spoon-leaved candytuft, perform early spring pruning, concentrating on removing any dead or damaged stems. Trim back overgrown branches to create a compact shape, which also improves airflow and reduces the risk of disease. Make sure to prune before new growth appears to protect developing buds, resulting in a healthier and more vigorous plant.
