Sorbus randaiensis is a species of deciduous tree in the family Rosaceae. It is endemic to the mountain areas of central Taiwan, with altitude 1,800m to 3,200m, mostly spotted in the forest of Xueshan, Hehuan Mountain, Mount Xiluan, and Nenggao Mountain. It is a tree 3–8 m tall with white flowers and reddish fruit.
Sorbus randaiensis demonstrates strong resistance to disease and is generally not susceptible to illnesses. In terms of upkeep, this plant is relatively low maintenance. Planted outdoors it needs only minimal watering, and larger specimens usually do not require pruning. Smaller plants, however, should be trimmed after they finish blooming. Sorbus randaiensis is suitable for anyone with outdoor space, such as a garden or a deck, and does not demand extensive plant-care experience.
